Hi,

I have read the trinity trilogy during my 3-week-visit in Australia. After going thorugh my reading lists i fondly and vividly remembered how this trilogy ate up a good chunk of my holiday ",Down Under",. This lead to my ordering the first 2 books of ",The Quickening", from my favourite ",rainforest region", online bookseller. I was very surprised that the ,American Edition of Myrren's Gift was only available as a ",Used book",. I prefer the American editions, because they are so much less expensive then UK books, I can nearly have two American books for one British edition.

Aha, Sir ollibolli - have been waiting for you to post! Welcome and thank you for enjoying Trinity. Now, I'm concerned that you say Myrren's Gift U.S. edition is only available as used because I know the trade paperback version is all done and dusted (possibly hitting second hand stores) but the mass market format is out and about and being reprinted regularly, so still selling happily. I can't imagine why you have to buy a 2nd hand copy if you prefer new. Is it worth looking into this further? I'm very pleased you enjoyed Trinity and my fingers are firmly crossed that The Quickening will soak up another great chunk of your precious time as well! Look forward to hearing. All best, F p.s. where are you writing from?

Hello Fiona, I am astonished that you remember me after more than six months. I am sitting at work in my office in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. I will continue to monitor this situation on amazon.de (German Amazon), but it is available on its sister (or mother) site over the big pond. I have the same problem for example with the 3rd novel of the new Amber cycle by John Gregory Betancourt, though IBooks seemingly does not reprint it and it is also not available on amazon.com. I ordered the books, because I saw its inavailability on German Amazon, not wanting to run into the same problem as with the Amber Novel 'To Rule In Amber'. I will also send an email to Amazon.de about this asking, if they plan to restock 'Myrren's Gift'.
