Hello Fiona

I would like to start by congratulating you on such a great series! The Quickening was awesome. As soon as I had finished the first book, I wasted no time in tracking down the others. I love the depth with which you discibed the world and people of Morgravia, Braviel and The Razors. As an art student I would like to comment on how well you painted pictures with your words. It is such an interesting and original concept that you have come up with. One of the most compelling series I have ever read! I have only recently finished reading Bridge of Souls, and I intend to get the other series of yours. Also, find it very good of you to take the time to setup this forum to write to your fans (like me). Keep up the good work!

Hi Kel Terrific to hear from you and to know that the series impacted so strongly on you. That is a wonderful compliment re painting pictures with words, thank you so much and coming from an art student who perhaps looks more deeply into images and visual prompts, it is meaningful. I think perhaps, then, that more than Trinity, my first series, which is a rollicking tale in all fairness, you may really enjoy Percheron, the third series. I say this only because Percheron is such an exotic setting and the images I've aimed to evoke in the reader are all but scratch and sniff if you get my drift. I've spent some time conjuring the setting using food and aromas. I hope you enjoy. As for the Bulletin Board - it's a real pleasure and please don't for a moment think that I don't derive as much fun and satisfaction from talking with all of you. In fact I learn so much from the readers from your brief but revealing comments on all subjects but especially from your love of the fantasy genre. Happy reading and thanks for dropping by. You're most welcome and I hope you'll post often. F
