Hey Fiona,
My name is Ben and i recently finished reading your series, trinity. I just wanted to let you know that i think that they are an absolute achievement in your own rite, as well as in the world of fantasy novels!!!! I hadn't read a book for nearly 5 years when i first picked up Betrayal.
It was my wife, Cassie, who suggested i read it - to get me away form my xbox. Once I started to read it i couldn't put it down. I couldn't believe how much i was enjoying it and before i knew it i was onto Revenge, then Destiny, then........ It was over. I was so sad when i finished. I just wanted the story to keep going. Anyway i just wanted to thankyou for renewing my love for reading - eventhough you didn't know you were doing it.
I will be attending your book club at Borders as often as i can now, as i am a fellow adelaidian - and i can't wait to meet you and thank you in person. I am also so looking forward to The Quickening!!!!!!!
Keep up the brilliant work.

Hello there, Ben
How kind of you to write. I'm always so grateful to a reader who passes on their comments, especially such generous praise....my sincere thanks. I get a real buzz from knowing the tale has captivated you and brought you back to reading from that terrible enemy....the electronic game console! I sigh with relief when I can get my sons excited over a book which drags them away from the dreaded PS2. They have their place but books are brilliant for escape - total escape. Thanks for giving Betrayal a go and how wonderful that we'll be able to meet soon. Monday's the next gathering - come along and say hello. I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting all the other fantasy lovers. We've just finished Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams (if you haven't, don't hesitate) and we're moving onto another classic called Lyonesse by Jack Vance which I think you'll really enjoy if you love the more traditional style of fantasy.
See you there, Ben and a warm welcome to the BB by the way. F

Ben,
I have been very tardy.... missed this thread before the last meet so send my apologies for not giving you a typical Princess welcome...... will make it up to you the next meet!
If you were there.. you would already realise that the joy of reading Fiona's work is only the beginning... the lady in person is very inspirational....
If not.... please make yourself known next time
