everyone interperates things differently when i read betrayal i was sure that tor and orlac were brothers from the start but...when i let my mum borrow the trinity she was certain that goth and tor were brothers. go figure i guess i can see where she got it from both orphaned and all but that's just too scary to contemplate

You're right, too scary to think about. I always thought of Goth as middleaged at the start and Tor is in his early teens at the brideling, then again given that his parents are gods I don't suppose age means much.

I've been dead for a while now, so far I don't like it...

I agree with Jess. When I started reading, I knew there was a special connection between Tor and Orlac, but I didn't know they were bros. Goth, not a chance. They were so different that the thought neve crossed my mind.

Well, when I read Betrayal I did wonder if Goth was infact Tor's brother.. considering the similarities in their orphan-ship...... but thought that that wasn't quite right as Goth was much older than Tor...

I must admit that I didn't even consider that Tor and Orlac might be brothers till I read the conversation between Lys and .... I can't remember who.... may even have been Tor actually, or maybe Dorgryl.... can't remember now the exact details but she said something about the King and Queen of the host having orlac and him being lost... and then something about another child of the host.... :help I think I will have to read it again to be more specific.... <img src=hrug">

The thought never crossed my mind........ but then again that's not surprising because I usually let myself flow at the same pace as the story line..... :flush
