I just finished reading Revenge (kudos to Fiona by the way) and a number of theories are taking shape in my head (the voices aren't too happy about these squaters but they'll have to cope).

a) Tor is a god himself.

b) Tor and Orlac are brothers.

c) If b holds true then Tor is the second born to the King of the Host.

Not sure about the JFK thing really, but I'm now a little way in to Destiny and the King of the Host is discribed as having piercing blue eyes (now where have we seen those before?:green ). Since no one else in Talinor has these eyes, my theories seem to be holding.

Fiona, you are a literary genius! I really liked the way you dealt with Xantia, it seemed exactly how she should have gone. And the same for Goth, even if he survived way too long! Amazingly written and it was a nice touch to make Tor and Aerys babies when they returned to the Host.

I think JFK came back in time and assassinated himself from the Grassy Knoll with the help of a curry obsessed slob, a fashion fixated moron, a robot with an over active guilt chip and an anally retentive vending machine repair man!

I thought that was you but I couldn't be sure because the pickets were taller than you.

I got blocked from posting this because it was my second post in a minute! Who would have thought I could type so fast?

I don't think you'll find one person on the messageboard who didn't love these books.

I didn't think Tor would have had that much compassion left by the final confrontation, I mean he had a lot to cope with over the events leading to that time and place:
his death, Alyssa's rape by Goth, Lauryn's kidnapping and subsequent rapes by Dorgy, his abandonment of his three kids. But I thought it fit the story perfectly that Aerys got a second chance.

This is just a the final bit of evidence that Fiona is a literary genius that she can twist the story in an unexpected way yet make it the perfect ending!:clap <img src=urple"> :clap
