Playing with the idea of getting across to Melbourne either next week or the week after. I will make a beeline for Robinsons, Slow Glass and probably Borders at Chadstone. Please watch this space as I will confirm as soon as I know what publisher wants me to do.

Looking forward hugely to meeting any of the Melbourne gang. :aqua

Okay, Robinsons Books emailed yesterday to ask if I could consider November instead of next fortnight. Reason being they would like to do a proper signing on a Saturday morning, advertise it appropriately and promote it through newsletter, through the store and so on. In other words, do it professionally. I feel very grateful for such support so we have settled on November 16 for Robinsons which means I should be able to be in the city for Thursday or Friday before. I will let you all know but that few days is now locked in. See you then, I hope. <img src=">

God bless you and all who sail upon you Fiona. I was just being facetial, (didn't you love No.96) but you am actually coming...mabey, possibly, whenever. :clap

So, now I have to get the old kilt out and give it a clean, (anyone know how to get yak vomit off a kilt...don't ask, it's a long story,) get a new scabbard for the claymore, (preferably one of those magic ones that Mel had in BraveHeart...you know the one that made a 12 foot sword totally disappear when you put it on your back,) and go down to the aquarium and bring my bagpipes home. (They are currently living in sin with an octopus...again, long story, don't ask.)

Adios :hat

PS. Hey Tvahlya...is this your chimp?

A license to leave home? You mean the monkey can drive too?

This old world is getting waaaaay too strange for me.

Robinson's Books is at Frankston and quite a drive, I gather.

I will be at Borders in Chadstone on Nov 14 Thursday late night. I'm doing a talk first apparently and then signing. Is that easier for you to get to? Hope so - definitely want to say hello.

Which establishes that the chimp isn't female.
*stands bravely with chin stuck out, thinks better of it and dives under nearest bean-bag*

If you think that a mere bean bag is any protection from the Moose, think again, Dragon!
