Yes...yes..... tell your lovely wife that they're making a trilogy movie of Trinity and that you've been asked to play Tor. Actually better check out her favourite characters and go with that. Let's hope it's not Alyssa!

All of the above, Dragon! I particularly remember the story of a certain sickness that had your daughter connect the dots on your face. I believe you came up with the perfect picture of Mel Gibson. Can't you flash that picture to your wife to get back her attention? Maker her believe it's Tor! After all, he was written after him... <img src=">

I'm in for the kinky part! When does it begin? :green

OK, now I'm getting scared. Are you telling me that when Hellywood snaps-up the movie rights, that Tom 'I might not be able to act, but God I'm pretty' Cruise will play Tor?

Tell me it isn't so! :wall

I know he's not a perfect physical match, but for some reason I keep seeing Danny Devito as Goth.

If that lunatic Robin Williams can do straight drama, why can't Wee Danny?

Just a thought <img src=hrug">

Hey,

Woudn't it be a good idea to have Brad Pitt as Orlac, the God, I'm sure he would make a great bad guy <img src="> lol

You know Steve, thats not a bad idea, but the thing is when I was reading I always imagined the bad guy from the X-files. He was the shape shifter, Brian Something or rather. He would make a good goth espically with his kind of face....

...And I would see Jerry Ryan (good ol' Seven of Nine) as Alyssa. In fact, I think she looks a bit like her from the Betrayal cover. Now, that should secure the male audience. <img src=">

Isn't funny how different our perceptions of characters are...

This is guy I imagine when I think of Goth.

Okay, this is getting totally CREEPY!!
Even though you describe Goth as short fiona, for some reason I've always imagined him as tall, skinny, with black short hair. and of course a gruesome face! <img src=">

Satine

How about you make a new catagory, if they were to make it into a movie, who would play the cast? Of course it would be called a shortened version of it. Maybe simply "The Cast" or something. Hey! That could work as a book title....

I think it's wonderful that everyone has their own interpretation of the characters. I see I got so caught up in my movie actors I put Orlac twice. Meant to say Brad Pitt would make a really good Orlac (broody, angry, etc) and Anthony Hopkins or John Travolta for Goth. Did anyone see Rob Roy? The villain in that - the one who plays a fop who is actually very cruel, very talented with the sword, very nasty piece of work. Tim Roth is it? Now he would make a good Goth.

BP was always Orlac in my mind. Mel Gibson (young) is Tor. Michelle Pfeiffer (young) Alyssa. Sir Anthony Hopkins or Kevin Spacey is Orlac although I think John Travolta does baddies seriously well. Cyrus is a younger Gabriel whatsit from The Usual Suspects and Musketeers....I could keep going!

It is Tim Roth and he plays a fabulous bad dude. He really creeped me out in Rob Roy, which I much prefered over Braveheart (sorry, Mel, gotta go with the Irish dude playing a Scot over an Aus/American dude playing a Scot).

I know you've always said young Mel for Tor, but I never quite saw him that way. Perhaps... um... more Heath Ledgerish, but with a thiner face... and dark hair.

I always imagined Tor as M'audub - Paul Attrides from Dune. Deep blue eyes dark hair, so on and so forth, for those who have seen the movie you know what I'm talking about.

...I now think Rosanne Barr should be Goth. (Or is that just too ugly and repulsive?)
