I'm sure DragonNemesis would be perfect in the role of Pelyss, though... <img src=">

Figgis.

Short, hairy and handsome...walks in, gets king-hit, is pretty much useless for most of the story...comes good at the end.

Sounds familiar.

And in my case, fat, bald, ugly, smelly and unable to get to the bath room on time... but apart from that i am perfect.

Back to the book
I got my copy of Betrayal today, i have read 300 pages already, some how think it will be finished tonight, and I won't be doing any cleaning or cooking either.
hopefully work won't interfere too much with my reading either, I am working night shift from Saturday night, so might get a chance to read at work, but hang on , that is 2 days away, probably have the series finished by then.
Way to go Fiona, excellent stuff, but i will comment a bit more as I read

Betrayal bites the dust, it is now 10pm my time, plenty of time to start Revenge. Wait on, Mutant X is on the idiot box soon, maybe I'll take a break
You know, I don't like Goth very much, but then I am not meant to am I?

Georgette's finished 'Destiny', (she'll make her own comments some time soon,) Stew's started it, and, thanks to all the stuff I've got to do this weekend, he'll probably finish it before I do...does this suck or what? :evil

150 pages into Destiny
sorry Lawrie,(Dragonemisis) your right i will finish it before you, but isn't that what friends are for, to tell them about good books.
I am disappointed that there is no dialogue/confrontation between Tor and Lorys, I know there didn't need to be one, but it would have been interesting to see how Fiona would have handled it
Destiny gets done today

Thought about that for a long time when I was writing chapter one but to me it was all part of the sorrow in their lives. Lorys departing without ever knowing, riddled with accusing demon voices. After much deliberation, I felt it was right that they never met but I know what you mean about wanting to rub it in Lorys' face perhaps or just to witness his shock. Thanks for devouring them so fast!

But when you go back to work... you had Betrayal, Revenge and destiny... what did co-workers have beer, footie and pizza.

You are the winner hands down.

Hey Fiona
DN's opening comments in this topic were echoed when i went to the dentist yesterday, he and his wife are fantasy buffs
(her more than him) and he was saying that his wife wasn't doing much around the house, because she had found this new author and couldn't put "the Bloody book" down. Guess which author.
Now please don't get big headed, but it was you:dance
When i told him that I had virtually sat down and read Trinity from start to finish, he thought that perhaps he should have a look himself.
Which brings me to the question of why it was impressive when I sat down and read the books without doing much else, but it was a nuisance when his wife did the same.:evil
