Just a bit more than three weeks ago, I ordered Destiny from Dymocks. Then, I went on vacation. After I returned, I had an e-mail asking to confirm I accepted the shipping cost (I'm ordering from Canada), and that they couldn't forward the order until they had confirmation. What? Another week of delay? AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!

When I came home from work yesterday, I had a notice in my door: a box was waiting for me at Purolator's counter! Woopie! So, Destiny, along with the other 12 books I've ordered, is now sitting proudly on my shelves, waiting to be read. So, Sara Douglass's Wayfarer Redemption (I'm finishing the first book) will just have to wait until I finish Destiny. (So will Tigana, I'm afraid to say, Fiona) <img src=">

Fiona

In my humble opinion, you are alway ahead of Sara. Certainly in my reading list you are.

*sigh* ...And I have finished it, alas. That was a great tale, Fiona. I just can't wait 'till your next book! To me, one year seems to be a bit too long, surely? Doesn't your agent want to get his/her paws on the stack of money your next book is going to make? <img src="> Tell him/her not to delay too much!

I'll probably re-read the Trinity now that I have the three books. But for the moment, I'll just go back to Sara and Guy... oh, and also Jacqueline, which's Kushiel's Chosen I am finishing at the moment...
