South Australia is beautiful to live in for its four definite seasons although we do get extremes. Our summers can be so hot and dry they are unbearable and I swear if I ever become hideously rich I am going to spend the Adelaide summer in Greece or southern Italy. Yum.

I'm impatiently waiting for Destiny to arrive, and I just realized that Dymocks has been delaying my order for a week now on some shipping charges! (I was away on vacation) Grrrrr!

Hello, Manon, please to meet you <img src=">

So you are from Quebec? Lucky lady! Has been a dream of mine to visit one day - shall definitely fulfill it but suspect a month or more would be required, as there are so many places in Canada that look spectacular. Alas, my current mode of travelling is restricted to TV, books and dreams <sigh>.

Anyway, welcome, enjoy the company <img src=">

G'day Manon,

I'm too new here myself to actually welcome anyone, but, mabey your cat would learn better sanitary habits if you just called him 'Chaos Lord'...it might be the anagram that's confusing him.

We have a saying here, Lisa: "the neighbor's pasture is always greener". Are you from Australia? I hear this is a great place. I would be delighted to have nice weather all year round. Our -40 degrees winters can be hard sometimes...

Yup, I'm Aussie, and when you find the place that has perfect weather year round, I'll meet you there for a drink. How's that sound?? <img src=">

-40 degrees?? I'm getting cold just thinking about it...

Perfect weather? Come over here! Here, summers are nice and warm, and when it's over 30 degrees, the freshness of the lakes are just what you could hope for. Fall is a burst of colors, and long walks in the forest will never stop fascinating. The trees transform into balls of wonderful yellows, reds and oranges. Winter brings the powdery snow, and the tranquil nights when you lie in the snow, making "angels" with arms and legs, all the while looking at the sky as the snow falls. And the joy of cuddling near a nice and warm fire, with a good book on one side and a cup of steaming hot chocolate on the other - or simply cuddling in the warmth of your significant other. And to top it all, there's spring, when trees and flowers bloom into life again. Even the soft pounding of the rain on the windows is welcoming at times!

Perfect weather? I have it right here, Lisa!

Wow... after that little post, I'm about ready to highjack a plane just to get there!

Here, we have summer, stinking hot as well as just plain stinking (cattle country), no autumn (fall) to speak of, winter which alternates between okay days, hot days and freeze your tits off days and again, no spring. <img src=">

You mean 'when' don't you not 'if'. Once you become a world wide mega star writer you'll have villa's all over the world lying empty except for the few weeks a year you spend there.

And of course the few weeks you let your loyal fans stay there as well!
