Hello, Manon, please to meet you
So you are from Quebec? Lucky lady! Has been a dream of mine to visit one day - shall definitely fulfill it but suspect a month or more would be required, as there are so many places in Canada that look spectacular. Alas, my current mode of travelling is restricted to TV, books and dreams <sigh>. Anyway, welcome, enjoy the company #9 - 16th Aug 2002 21:45:00MemberTotal Posts: 682 Last Online: 5th Apr 2004 22:40:00 Registered: 14th May 2004 00:00:00 MemberTotal Posts: 223 Last Online: 19th Apr 2004 16:34:00 Registered: 14th May 2004 00:00:00

G'day Manon,
I'm too new here myself to actually welcome anyone, but, mabey your cat would learn better sanitary habits if you just called him 'Chaos Lord'...it might be the anagram that's confusing him. Yup, I'm Aussie, and when you find the place that has perfect weather year round, I'll meet you there for a drink. How's that sound??

Perfect weather? Come over here! Here, summers are nice and warm, and when it's over 30 degrees, the freshness of the lakes are just what you could hope for. Fall is a burst of colors, and long walks in the forest will never stop fascinating. The trees transform into balls of wonderful yellows, reds and oranges. Winter brings the powdery snow, and the tranquil nights when you lie in the snow, making "angels" with arms and legs, all the while looking at the sky as the snow falls. And the joy of cuddling near a nice and warm fire, with a good book on one side and a cup of steaming hot chocolate on the other - or simply cuddling in the warmth of your significant other. And to top it all, there's spring, when trees and flowers bloom into life again. Even the soft pounding of the rain on the windows is welcoming at times!
Perfect weather? I have it right here, Lisa! MemberTotal Posts: 70 Last Online: 26th Nov 2002 21:51:00 Registered: 14th May 2004 00:00:00

Wow... after that little post, I'm about ready to highjack a plane just to get there!
Here, we have summer, stinking hot as well as just plain stinking (cattle country), no autumn (fall) to speak of, winter which alternates between okay days, hot days and freeze your tits off days and again, no spring. .............................. #20 - 22nd Aug 2002 14:17:00Forum ModeratorTotal Posts: 903 Last Online: 1st Jun 2004 21:40:00 Registered: 14th May 2004 00:00:00 Page 1 of 2 -> 1, 2, Last Page.
