....thank everyone here for their fantastic support. Money is tight, everyone is working hard, some of you have families, some are buying cars, some are breaking down in them, some just getting going on their first job...and so on. It humbles me to think you've all rushed out and blown $18 on Destiny (not to mention its predecessors) and that deserves some personal thanks to each of you. I appreciate the loyalty and especially the faith in the story. I hope with all my heart (and fingers crossed) that this final book delivers.

Cheers all.

... princess bustles through, hands on hips and stamps her foot!!!.....
"blown $18 dollars???""
To be taken away on a fantastic journey, to be made to feel elation, joy, tears and anger.... to be swept up within a caldron of colorful visions.... and to do all that for a mere $18?

.. then to have the sheer privilege of knowing that a famous author avails herself for chats and shares her knowledge????
Okay, I am not a writer myself, but I do read your words of encouragement and assistance to those that are, find it amazing!!

... a huge "thank you" Fiona, and looking forward to doing so in person on Friday <img src=">

May I just say that it has been worth every cent and look forward to meeting up again tomorrow night if I can get close enough with everyone else there...........

I must also add my voice and say "$18? Blown? PAH!"

As I finally drilled into my mother a while back, just thank the stars I'm spending money on books and movies and not drugs. $18 on one book that can take you on a wondrous trip out of your own mind again and again is far more worth it than $50 on a couple of joints.

Ah Fiona,

Your the best thing money could be spent on, so much talent and effort has been put into the books that it is worth all the money we spend...

I agree with everyone who made a comment...

Well...thank you all anyway. I didn't mean to suggest it was a waste but I do know that everyone's money has to stretch a long way and that you have choices on where to spend it. I feel a bit privileged to be honest that you choose to spend it on my books. I swear I'll never get over the wonder of it.

Slatz I am working on doing the capital cities soon. As my great buddy lives in Brisbane and is also pushing hard for me to come and see my godson who has just turned 12!...that city is high on the list. Plus I need to say hello to all of you up there too!

Fiona

I want to say thank you for giving me the pleasure of reading your work...

also Mine was $17.95 so don't feel so bad.. lol.

I would pay double to read it and what's more you are modest and humble enough to think like you do... you have class, style, and a certain something.. as the french say.

In addition, you give so much to the people who visit this board... that we probaly could never re-pay.

You are a special person... and I feel it an honour to read your work.

I am also fortunate to be a recent devotee.. so, I did not have to wait long for you books...

I can't wait for the next one... I began to reread Destiny once more yesterday... and so look what fun you get for a mere $17.95.

Lisa, I agree with you... you get to see so much for much less than drugs would cost... books are better for you.

Fiona, Long winded steve says

THANK YOU
XXX

You're welcome Fiona. I'm still tracking down Destiny, the local bookstores obviously don't have such good taste up here. Probably order it from Dymocks if I can't find it today.

I don't buy as many books as I'd like because I'm not made of cash right now. But like everyone who has posted I'm happy to lay down $20 when I know I'm going on a great adventure. I'm sure I'll reread these books many times so amortise $60 over the next twenty years, it's a bargain!

P.S. Are you sure you're not coming to Brisbane?

Hmph!!! And a big Hmph for that matter.

Never go to Angus and Robinson bookworld in Box Hill. Destiny was supposed to be out on Thursday (for aussies) correct? Well I went in on Friday, and it had Betrayel, Revenge, but no Destiny.

Do you think I should sue? Hey, I might get onto today tonight if they have no other interesting stories!! <img src="> lol

I'm going to a dymocks books and a collins books today so I can see if it's in there.

I don't know why I bother at this very second, because I have no money. But, just to know it's out there will be worth my while.
