I was tempted but then I thought "No! be strong. I can wait till Friday" But it looked good and I cheated and read the last page ( I do this with every book I read).
Can't wait for Friday now - I get a signed book and a balloon animal.

You are better than me... I did the same yesterday...
I bought 3 copies... ('coz I wanted a trilogy????) and all I can say is "WOW"... I am sure someone somewhere else has said this much better than me..but hey I think it is WOW.
Beginning is good... Middle is great and doesn't Fiona have a lovely end...?
I will see you Friday... and I won't spoil the read ok?
Just to inform you all (Fiona knows this already)
Borders are getting 75 copies (72 now tee hee) Dymocks 20
Angus & Robertson.. not sure... but maybe in the next few days...
All the above Rundle Mall stores only...
Lisa has contacted me... and I will get a copy signed for her.
See you Friday.... DESTINY is out.
By the way if you ask borders staff they say it's not in yet until August (snicker snicker.. guffaw).

I can't believe you've already read it Steve and as for BH reading the last page - you should have your eyes sewn up for that (ooh, that's quite a nasty one I could use in a story!). Unforgiveable but have to tell you that I burst out laughing when I read that you had. Now that you know the end, it has to spoil it...surely? I'm still chuckling - we'll have to call you 007 and SuperSleuth.

IT'S DESTINY!! In more ways than one!!
The only reason I have a copy in my hot little hands is because my car broke down in Adelaide on the weekend and I got stuck there until today. I was supposed to come home on Sunday. As I haven't been on the board since early last week I had no idea that Borders was getting some early copies so it was just damn good luck to wander in there today (never been there before) after meeting some rellys in the Mall. I think my heart actually stopped for a moment when I saw it there

Borders have heaps on display today..
But Dymocks have a whole display case (new to Artemis Fowl) outside their store today... Has the whole trilogy... so Dymocks came through today.
Angas & Robertson... no copies out yet... sad!
Known Space didn't have any either... pity because I like little independent book stores.
I am so excited about tomorrow.

After pestering the book shop for the last three days - we have finally each got a copy of destiny - Missy was reading it on the way home while I had to drive - Not fair - I am sure she will get to the end before I do. I just told her I don't want her to tell me the ending - want to read it for myself. I am glad however - that you did not take long in finishing it - please keep us posted on further books that you write.
