Congratulations Fiona

You thoroughly deserve it..........looks like everyone is finding out what all of us here already knew......

look forward to reading it and also catching up on the second of August........

"DESTINY"
Fiona McIntosh
Voyager
Slick, hard and dark fantasy at its blistering best. Fiona delivers a book that is destined to become a bench mark for future writers. Destiny ends the Trinity series, not with a gentle winddown, or a stylish layering of future ideas but with a punch in the guts and a slap in the face. I wanted to see if Fiona could write hard and dirty and she can, and by all means she can do it damn well. Yes we still have the love interests from the first two books, yes the baddies are still bad, but the story line is crisp and crackling with explosive power. I asked to see a Fantasy book that could compete with the best the US/UK has to offer, well this is something to wake me up to Australian Fantasy. Well done Fiona, now come on you readers, when this one hits the stands make sure it hits your hands.

Can't wait for August 2. Not only do I get the book but I also get a balloon animal. What more can a man ask for?

Ah... Now I just wish I could write a review of it too! Well done, Fiona. I can't imagine what it's gotta be like reading a review of your own published book. I get twitchy enough whenever I give someone a short story to read...

This is wonderful! Dancing around the room (which is an interesting concept in itself, being that my study room is also the junk room and I have to dodge old lego, endless Dolly magazines and huge tax volumes... <img src=">

The superlatives fight for their right to be heard but none of them are good enough. So I shall offer a resounding YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!! :rollin

Obelixx said it perfectly (why am I not surprised <img src="> ) we already knew <img src=">

Enjoy and bask in your richly deserved praise......

Oh dear, now I feel really silly. No wonder the first post did not seem to work - I was in two seperate threads. While all you clever experienced ones shake you head, I shall bow mine in shame and grab another wine......

Heartfelt thanks to all. I do keep glancing at them, that's true, and feeling just a little zap of pleasure each time I see them finally together.

The first of no doubt many great reviews.

It must be a great sense of accomplishment to actually have the physical books sitting there. Sure you knew it was in the motions and happening, but to see it there finished is a different story altogether (no pun intended).

Congratulations on what is a beautiful beginning.
