(Bows back to the wonderful support gang at the board.) Thank you.

Yes, a personal goal I can now tick but I'm afraid the itch doesn't go away - in fact it's worse than ever and now all I can think about it how to get Myrren's Gift written by August 31 and setting myself the somehow ridiculous target of having the whole trilogy in the computer and curing by March 2003

Just love a challenge! :eek

Destiny landed with a thud in my mailbox today - a solitary copy but oh the joy to finally place all three books together on my bookshelf and sigh that the trilogy is complete.

When Betrayal arrived like this, I cried and we broke out the champagne. An old pro now, I just opened the envelope and grinned. A bit of a shame really to lose that sense of hysteria...<img src=">

That's great, Fiona. Wow, what a sense of accomplishment you must have. Three books.

Just think of what it was like before you were finished with #1 and compare it to how far you've come.

*claps* *bows*

Kudos!

Brad.

I must admit that you've inspired me, Fiona. I've knocked out 25k words in the last 2 weeks--most of that in the last 6 days after seeing how fast you write.

I told my fiance that I felt like I turned a corner after seeing 120k in 2 months. I often would stop myself after reaching a lull in the writing. But now, I'm forcing myself to work through those. It's pretty neat how much more one can get done by just nudging a touch more than before.

I feel more "professional" with that sort of attitude. I'm shooting for 1st pass on the new book by end of September/early October. *crosses fingers* We'll see how that goes.

Write on, sister!

Brad.

Oh if only I had know......I have a friend thats a postie.......could have had the exclusive..... <img src=">

Seriously....it must be gratifying feeling having finally completed the trilogy and can now bask in the recognition of your "megastar" status.........

Congratulations Fiona,

This is indeed an accomplishment to be very proud of. I sincerely hope for you to always enjoy your writing as much as we enjoy the reading of it. <img src=">

Fiona,
Well done <img src=">

Perhaps the initial hysteria is now replaced by deep satisfaction....

Just imagine how you will feel when squillions of happy people settle down to turn the first page..... licking them lips in anticipation <img src=">

And after none of us have slept for a few nights, ignored dishes piling on the sink and shoed off all the children/friends/relatives for a few days of intense fantasy travelling... you can bask in our enthusiastic praise! I have no doubt this board will become somewhat busier...

Looking forward to the sighing ....

like princess said, once all of us here have missed about 2 nights chores and the place is a mess and when we finally put the book down and rush onto here to sing your praises, im sure that will be a bit like hysteria!

cant wait!
