Welcome to the board Satine.

"> You are the first new arrival as a result of book 2 (I think). Neato!
Fiona can answer your tour question when she arrives.
I am from the US and haven't gotten book 2 yet. Good to hear its hard to put down.
Hope to see you again. We're a harmless bunch so jump right in... but watch out for the lopsided wit!

Hello,
By the way I'm new, ao you gotta be nice

">
Last night I finished Revenge. It was supposed to be for the train, but I couldn't put it down. lol. So, After, well, who knows how long, I finished (yay!!)
I can't wait for the third and final book to come out. Well, I thought that I'd just make my presence known.
A bit about my self, I first found Betrayel at a bookshop, and picked it up several times, and looking at the cover and blurb several times, before deciding to get it. I ADORE fantasy books, especially ones that draw me in. I have also read Isobelle Carmody, and who knows who else. I am 15 nearly 16, and from Australia.
Well, I think I'll leave it at that for now. Good work! Can't wait for the third to come out!

P.S I know someone who is like Mr Tor. I don't know if he has he's Allysa though..... hehe. Don't mind me, I am VERY strange, but harmless.

Hi Satine...actually I formally welcomed you at Scribe's Corner but let me do it again - because I should have read this post first! There I was asking whether you are a lover of fantasy books - Light! as they say in Tallinor - I can see you are an old hand.
Thank you for reading Betrayal and Revenge and for enjoying them so much.
I can assure you all book 3 will not keep you waiting because of me...I am a hair's breadth from its finish and right now Alyssa is kicking some serious butt so hang in there.
Well, Satine...pls don't keep Mr Tor all to yourself! All of us girls would like to know someone like Tor. I know a reader in SA whose boyfriend apparently so closely matches the description of our Tor that she no longer calls him by his real name which is nice enough. To her he is Tor and get this....she's very fair and if it wasn't for her long, long legs, she would make a fetching Alyssa. Anyway, she is totally caught up in the love story of our seemingly doomed pair and very, very cross with me for what I did in Revenge in the early chapters to blight their love further. Can't say more - anyone who has read it will know what I mean.
Touring....well, Borders again next Friday everyone but in Adelaide so that's no good to you lot. Yes, S, trying very hard to get myself across to Melbourne in February. I promise to let you know and would love to meet you as I would all of this lovely gang here. You'll enjoy them - visit often.
Bye for now....F

I love those Borders bookstores, there are always so huge and full of sooooo many books, I love them. You should sooo come to a Melbourne one they are just so neato, excuse very past expressionism, (and bad spelling), and plus you get to meet the hordes of fans down here, we hide in all the woodwork and watch all going on's.
Feeling kinda left out 'Revenge' isn;t in any of the near bookstores, so I'll just have to wait quietly, but I won't wait too quietly for long hehe

Blondie shout very loudly at those wicked nearby bookstores for not getting it immediately! I promise I will get to Melbourne next couple of months and we can all catch up. I get a bit frightened in Borders - can't find my way around the bookshelves but rather appreciate the coffee and comfy chairs and choose-a-book-why-don't-you-and-read-it whilst-you're-here attitude.

Dear Fiona,
I got this book at Christmas and absolutly loved it. Was very upset to find out there was a book two and I had to wait for it. Luckly for me I did not have to wait long. Now my daughter is also reading it. Please hurry up and finish the third book.
Best Regards,
Your a great writer
Linda.
P.s. What is the name of the third book so that I may keep a look out for it.

Hiya, Snowyfriend!! Welcome to the board.
The third book is called Destiny and I think it will be out around July/August. Though I'm sure another early release could be arranged... hey Fiona.

">
btw, beware the 'Big Smacks' thread. The entire plot of Destiny has already been discussed in great detail.

Hello Snowy
A very warm welcome to the board. Thanks for your kind comments and wonderful that you've enjoyed Betrayal and Revenge. Lisa gets very cross if we get into a spoiler situation so heed her words. I'm not sure I "spoiled" that much but must keep our Brisbane girl happy because she can be quite scary as Crusie will attest. Yes, Destiny due out July/Aug and no reason for this long wait as it is finished and we are in final stage of editing so by close this month, it's done. Having said that, the publishers then swing into a lot of action for briefing artist on cover design after we've all pondered which is best scene; then getting it scheduled into the print queue and warehousing queue, etc. I can tell you this, selling into the bookstores began at the end of last month so Destiny is already on order and you can earmark a copy for yourself at your favourite bookstore now.
Hope you'll stay in touch. All the best, F

Hello!
I have joined because i want to say that your books are excellent Fiona! I enjoyed reading them very much!
I had discovered 'Betrayal' in December. I didn't want to buy it because it was book one of 3! I didn't want to go through the torment of waiting for the next one to come out! Though I knew that it would be a good book and I love books (I love getting lost in one!) and needed something to do in my holidays. I had just finished high school and I had 3 months off until Uni started. I finished the book in 3 weeks (that is slow for me). I was so annoyed that I couldn't just go back to the book store and buy the second one. So I read another book... and another book.. until I thought I'd try my luck (which was last week - I have already finished 'Revenge', I couldn't put it down as it was that good!). Now I'm waiting - yet again!
I'd like to ask a few questions.. are these 2 books the first you have written so far? And when did 'Betrayal' and 'Revenge' come out?
Thanks.
Again. Congratulations!

when I got hooked... hmm, well lets see about two months ago I suppose. I was given the first book to read (Betrayal) and was told that it was very good. And about a week later we found the second book of the Trinty. So I guess from that point on I've been hooked every since....
