It's already begun lurking amongst the booksellers. I'm getting some feedback which is basically a hearty thumbs up...phew! Everyone who has read it so far has said it is better than Betrayal which is incredibly satisfying to hear. I shall take that positive thought with me into chapter 22 of book 3! Sonya wants to join us but thinks the gang here is "too funky" for her. Is convinced she'll be a complete bore. So be gentle and less funky please if she plucks up the courage to say hello.

Us? Little old us? Funky?

I think not. A little barmy with too much time on our hands, probably, but not so cool as to be funky.

Congrats on the early word on Revenge! So when do our personally autographed, pre release copies get sent out?? <img src="> just kinding....

Toady all you like Ambrai! I won't forget that you were one of the first who read it and gave me a thumbs up. You know I don't even get pre-release copies. I have to wait until the book's out.

Brilliant! Can't wait to hear from you on it. Let me know when you get a copy - I'm still trying to track one down myself! Nice to hear from you too. Are you enjoying freedom? F

Had to laugh with you CL. Sonya is one of my two draft readers who desperately wants to chat regularly here but feelsl she's too .....what can I say? um.....middle aged? I've reassured her you are all warm, hugely intelligent and vastly talented people to be in contact with! I see she hasn't plucked up the courage yet but I shall stay on her case. She's a great draft reader actually - very picky, very precise. And now she has decided as a hobby to become a researcher for me. She loves the www and knows her way around sites like I do the shelves at Coles (groan) and is already bringing me tonnes of information on everything from candlemaking to medieval warfare!

Too risky...could offend! Crusie has kids so he's right up there towards mid age with me. Donna - no idea but your intelligent comments suggest there's a wise old brain lurking, Now Lisa...um...very hard but very bright and would guess late twenties to early 30s. Resident youngsters would be Jono and Ambrai, both of whom are talented and NEED TO GET WRITING! CL...absolutely no idea but intriguing.

Own up everyone! :b

I'm 37! You would not have offended me guessing wrong. Its when I try to buy beer and the server says, "Can I see some ID 'MA'AM', that offends me." :lol

Okay....make me feel old you lot! Let me give another reason not to get old....children (help me out here Crusie). Keep in mind the old girl is trying to run a business but here's how today's schedule went - and don't forget it's school holidays!

Will a tutorial at 11.15. This means driving across town and then waiting an hour and then driving back in 38 degrees and soaring. :evil

Jack - orthodontist at 3pm to check the new plates are in fact fitted correctly and achieving something. Mother sits impatiently in thankfully airconditioned waiting room for 30 mins.

Mum - we need solar tops. In the ever soaring heat, driving to Target which is on the other side of the Earth but it has 15% off today and so together with the other mad fools that were trying to save a few dollars I went in search of the wretched sun tops which look hideous and set you back at least $40 a pop.

Back to the office for about 20 mins and then back to pick same pair up for their swimming lesson at 5.15pm with Chantelle who looked a lot cooler than me in her gorgeous bathers!<img src=">

Home and had to produce a meal in about 10 mins because everyone is starving at 6.15pm.

This is what early 40s has in store for you girls. As for CL....turning 18....well good grief! When?

Actually birthdays months please so we can all remember to raise our glasses:

I'm March.

You want help from me Fiona?? :lol

But I is just a wittle boy. A spritely 32 years old. See my Philisopy was marry young and have kids while I have no money because I can't afford to do anything anyway. Then hopefully when they are older and leave the nest I might (or I hope at least) have some sort of wealth base with which to do as I please ie travel the world, eat at expensive restuarants etc (without the little tag-alongs, bless their little hearts)

As far as running around for the kids, well mine are a little young for that and besides I am always at work so its the wife's job *ducks the thrown saucepan*

In regards to troublesome children don't know where you got yours from Fiona but mine are an absolute delight. I suggest you take them back and get a refund (I did 2 times already<img src="> ). Children are just the greatest blessing (see if you tell them it is good they try it to and we won't suffer alone) and no trouble at all. *takes tongue out of cheek*

Oh and Early 40's Fiona??
Who is this 25 year old leaning on your book then? <img src=">

40+ my butt!

Oh I am Mr October! <img src=">
