Lisa, I want to be able to do those funny little things that jump around and Crusie keeps coming up with masterly graphics. Very jealous! Anyway, (pouty voice) I made chocolate cherry cupcakes from my Nigella cookbook and yes, Crusie, I am a goddess....a domestic goddess who bakes scrumptious little cakes with chocolate ganache and cherries on the top. I still didn't understand a word of it! Ambrai - don't you dare start getting tricky on this BB and leave me behind. We are cooks...nay, we are domestic goddesses and today I am making poule basque (chicken in a spanish/frenchy sort of slightly spicy tomato base) for my family and what else? Ah yes, rich chocolate marble cheesecake brownies for the boys and this amazing thing called Butterscotch cake dripping with caramel when we celebrate a win at the cricket tomorrow (hmmmm, possibly wishful thinking there).
Ab/Cru how do I enable an edit? Tell me step by step which buttons to press and I will obediently do it - you see how nice I am? That's because the smell of my Italian biscuits are wafting through to this room...... Ambrai....go Nigella. Horrid for the waistline but her books read so well, you'll love it. okay fiona: if you want to enable the edit feature, you have to do so for each forum... but its the same for each. 1.go to your control panel 2.click on MY EZBOARD 3. scroll to the bottom of this window, you will see a box with the names of all your forums in it. 4. click on the name of the forum you want to enable EDIT in.. (the forum name should now be highlighted in blue) 5. to the right of the forum names are a bunch of buttons.. click on SECURITY. 6. Scroll to the bottom of the security customization screen until you see ------------- Editing level None Admin Moderators and Admins Post Author, Moderators and Admin You can make some forums allow editing only by certain types of users (author, moderators, admins, or none) -------------- select Post Author, Moderators and Admin. THE END. the edit feature allows a poster to go back and change only THEIR post... ALSO! on this same screen... the security customization screen, there is an option near the top that says ------------ Allow HTML in posts To disallow the use of HTML coding in posts, uncheck this box. ----------- you should check this box too, it will allow posters to use html in there posts. (html is a coding language used to make webpages... with it posters can change their font colours and sizes, add images... just little stuff)
