Is there any sex, drugs and rockin'roll left in the American version? Nice sword, by the way. Adios :pimp

Not yet. In fact I think we might find if anyone releases it first overseas it might be the dear old Brits. My editor said that if Myrren's goes like hot cakes then they'll be looking at Trinity although one imagines my agent would prefer them to look at Percheron first. It's quite a complex juggle actually. If you take it as done that most authors just get better at what they do, then you sort of don't want to head new readers backwards. You want them to start with Trinity, go on to The Quickening and then presumably there'll be a maturing in Percheron that suits the next read. Not sure that always works but it's the theory!

Thanks Fiona...except now I'm even more confused. The Qickening isn't a better trilogy than Trinity...or, if you'd prefer...Trinity isn't a better trilogy than The Quickening...they're both brilliant. So...why not let the public read them in the correct order. Cause...if an agent/book-seller/whatever thinks that someone who buys and enjoys The Quickening, isn't going to then enjoy Trinity...well, they need to be in another line of busines. And...I don't pay much attention to an authors literary evolution as long as they're entertaining me, but if yours ever gets in the way of telling the story...I'm against it. Adios :pimp
