As this collection is not available in the US, I've been bidding on Australian sets as they appear. , Finally won one, pretty beat up, but the words are all there/. , Shipping's more than twice the cost of the books, but it's worth it. , One day I'll be able to pick up a fresh, new set here in the USA. , Next, Percheron. , Once I pick up everything, I'll search for a Fiona USA signing event and get the ULTIMATE autographs.

A happy Phil

Oh, you lovely man, thanks for the Sunday revv up for my ego. I need it, I'm about to take this sad old bod out for a run - thank goodness for the escape of an iPod! Enjoy Trinity. I know Dragonemisis will get cross with me when I say this but I don't think it's as accomplished as The Quickening because I did my apprenticeship very publicly through this Trinity series. But it's naivete aside, I think it's a rollicky sort of tale and hope you get lost enough in it to devour all the books once they arrive. We already have all new covers for this series and I guess that they're in their dozenth reprint does mean that people are still enjoying them. Thanks again, Phil. Whilst I have you.....I held a workshop yesterday and one of the attendees is a sci fi short story writer with 20 stories ready to send off to anyone who'll listen. I think what he needs is to approach some of the American magazines which are more lively in sci fi than perhaps we are. Have you got any grip on which of the magazines he might approach please? I said I'd throw it open at the board so I might add a thread in general forum but just thought I'd mention it here to you direct. Thanks Phil. Happy reading,my friend...I'll look forward to hearing how you get on. Fx

Phil, they are my favourite covers. Fiona, no I'm not cross ... you too have a right to your favourite Fiona Mac book. However, were your favourite to advance, and to become synonymous with latest ... then I'd get cross. OK ??? Adios :pimp
