Hello, I'm a Kiwi stuck in USA, and stumbled across the Quickening series. Read them in 2 weeks instead of studying, and now can't seen to even see a mention of this series being released in the USA.

Any ideas if/when they will be released here? ( hope it is soon...I have finals coming up I need to procrastinate for!!)

Cheers!!- Nzsamiam

Hey there I don't want to be blamed for you dipping out on your studies....so perhaps it's a good thing that Trinity is not scheduled to be released in the U.S. as yet. It has just begun its launch in the UK this month. The next story for America will be Percheron and book one, Odalisque, hits next March. Bit of a long wait. Can you stand it. What else can I suggest???? It's nice to have you amongst us....tell us what you're doing, why you're over there and exactly where in the USA? Trinity can be ordered via UK or Oz if you get desperate. F

Thank you so much for the responce. It's a shame this side of the world has to hold out for so long. Time to break out my secret weapon and call my mum. Well, now I know what I want for Christman, the Trinity set and a pack of Jaffas.

As for me being in the USA. Short version: Got engaged to an American, applied for the greencard lottery, broke up, got postcard in the mail 2 yrs later followed by a pack of over 500 "legal papers" to fill out, 4 months notice to my interview, 15 vacinne shots and 6 months to get within the borders. Origionally moved to Cleveland Ohio and 6 feet of snow before moving to Atlanta (hotlanta) Georgia where its 40+ deg. C from March through October. Am finishing up my stuides for Neuromuscular Therapy and National Certification. ( Poncy way of saying Certified Massage Therapist that specilises in body reapir and manipulation. LIke a chiropractor but with the muscles not the bones.

The long version would take up a good afternoon over a cup of tea. :)

Thanks again- Samantha.

Impressive! Always use the poncy version to describe what you do. I was in New York earlier this year and LOVED it. Can't wait to get back next November where World Fantasy Convention will be held (Saratoga I think). But I will be in San Francisco and Texas later this year. No good to you for signing books but if your mum wants; your mum (Secret Weapon) can send me the books, I can sign and bring them, post them there if you would like? Stay happy. F

Wow. That is just such an amazing offer I have been too stunned to respond for a week.

Needless to say, I called my mum right away and asked her to look in the bookstores for the books. I know some were on back order from the publisher atm. I would be honoured if you would sign the books. I bribed my mum to get them for me for Christmas so still have 6 months to get them to Aussie and back .

Thank you so much for the offer, and for being a woderful down to earth person with real care for your readers. Its nice to know there are some people still like that out there.

Thanks again...Samantha.

A pleasure, Samantha. Email me at: fiona@fionamcintosh.com I can give you the address for your mum to send the books to and perhaps you can give me her contact details in case we need to organise anything. I leave end October so will need by then. Cheers, F
