Dear supreme authoress of Pecheron
Are you writing at the speed of light - does the flow of words increase every day? Have the characters formed and accepted their assignements?
Write and be happy :nw :flame

I seriously hope not...
I tried that Vulcan thing, and my pen kept falling out of my hand.
If the Vulcan Way slows -down Fiona's writing...then, ALL VULCANS MUST DIE !!!
Anyone gotsta problem with that ???

Hell no no no no no......
Shame about the Vulcans - they seemed such a sensible lot too - I guess the mind thing took over the need to write...
May work flow from fingers long trained to transfer thought to word...
:yes ?????

Don't Vulcans only have sex every 7 years or so?
When they come on heat or something?
Doesn't sound too sensible to me.

Perhaps it is sensible for a Vulan - whereas earthlings evolved to breed - Vulcans evolved to brood - sex is therefore immaterial!!! Tolerance of Vulcan beliefs structures and sexual practices is highly recommended - such is life - what is weird to outsiders is not to those who live another way - who can confirm which is better without knowing all there is to know about everything and having lived every way there is to live - verissimilitude. What is the truth!!!
If not live long and prosper - an alternative would be die short and poor?

I'm 40,000 words in and feeling a little more comfy with the surrounds and characters. My lead man definitely smacks of Colin, even if he looks nothing like him. All sorts of strange and wonderful things occurring and I shall continue to explore some of the concepts from Trinity and Quickening in this series.

Joy - joy - joy - and well done. The journey sounds rich with possibilities and reminders of things much loved from the past work - a rich mix. Enticing even...
Write with the power of 10 and keep the chocolate supply stocked up for long sessions of flow. Or is it Turkish delight now???

Dear Fiona...
How is the new book word count today? We know that you are ultra busy with other life matters and writing / publishing work - but.... hopefully the world of Pecheron and characters are finding their rich lives are heading towards the 3/4 mark - you had an Oct deadline? How is it all going - so much to do and so little time????
When in doubt stock up on the chocolate and turkish delights.. and then you eat one piece of either or each per paragraph, three pieces per full page - 10 pieces per whole chapter.

Amirzand, do you work for a drug company that specializes in diabetes...or what ???
We want the woman alert and paying attention.
Not comatose or running amok in a sexual fenzy. (Chocolate does that to women you know...well ,it does to the ones around here apparently.)
Get your act together !

Hmmm-sexual frenzy and comatose?! The effects vary according to consumer so if it helps I say Eat it !
I heard F worked well on and required stacks of chocolate to write - but if it will have unexpected or unwelcome side effects then perhaps we should encourage other types of brain food? Or better still - the indulgence may fuel a new X-rated edge to Fs writing - could be interesting and worth waiting for dont you think? Meantime - I have now got my act together and recommend highly the diabetic chocolate available from Thorntons UK. Yummmmm...
If this fails to appeal - recommend visiting Haighs in Adelaide and Thorntons in the UK - forget the chocolate the classic toffee is out of this world...

If all else fails try the award winning French stuff using 70% coacoa butter from places like Argentina etc - Yeehah!
Ancient Mirodian saying - A world with no chocolate is bland, apathetic and tasteless

Oh wow - those chocolates look scrumptious don't they? I've just returned from a brisk walk trying to shake off the last block I consumed! Right now I'm having a quiet thing with Cadbury's new Malt Chocolate. It will pass but for now I am throwing it down my gullet like there's no tomorrow.
Percheron - about 80,000 words done. I'm moving far slower on this book than I normally do because I am stretched a little thin at this time of the year with work and family commitments but I'll make the October deadline. That said HC more than happy to give an extension because this is its busiest time of the year too and as book one won't hit until next September we've got a bit of a buffer there.
I think I'll feel very driven after my visit to Turkey and Greece. x

Wow, that's a huge amount of words. I've only just past 10,000, but that's for a story competition and I had to keep the end of it as close to 10,000 words at I could, because there's an awful lot of pages to print out.
*bounces excitedly*
