Odalisque is now launching in November although I gather books might be available from end October, but definitely from November 1, so perfect to lead up to Christmas. Hope this makes you happy. I'm ecstatic. x

Why isn't there an emoticon for that trembly little feeling you get deep inside just before big big events, like a chemistry exam, or going for that job interview, or kissing someone for the first time, or learning that a Fiona book is COMING OUT EARLY!!! Cheers, Lisa.

Thanks Lisa - that's a lot of good wishes you've given on this visit. Something really nice is going to happen to you tomorrow! x

Can it be that you've sent me an early copy of Odalisque??? Because unless you have, I can pretty much bet nothing nice will happen to me tomorrow. Unless I get sick and don't have to go to work, that'd be nice... :P Cheers, Lisa.

End of October, huh?  That is much better than December.  I was a little worried about getting it in a timely fashion so close to the holidays.  Now I just have to find a couple more books coming out between now and then to make the shipping worthwhile.

Hmmm... things change fast - for the better this time.  I visited Dymocks Rundle Mall late last week and asked to place an order for Odalisque and the new cover series of the Trinity trilogy - neither came up on their system and I was told to wait at least another month ... now I will be less patient and revisit said store with the news that perhpas they can move things along now - please...

Fiona, If you ever get tired of writting killer novels, I suggest you start working as a clairvoant (?sp)! You said something good would happen to me today, and guess what?!?!?! It did!!! I applied for a job in Brisbane yesterday, and was offered the position this morning! So, in a couple of weeks, I shall be moving camp from the little smoke to the truly big smoke. WHOO HOO!! Cheers, Lisa.

Thanks guys!

Loving books is one thing... moving them is another! I have filled three boxes already and only emptied one and bit bookshelves, and that was with a major cull on numbers. At least DVDs are slim... All I can say is thank goodness I'll be moved before Odalisque comes out, one less giant of a book to lug around the countryside.

Fiona, can you change your prediction to a Ewan McGregor look-and-sound-and-personality-a-like or maybe just say Matthew McConaughey...?

Cheers, Lisa.

Li...I have a sampler from Voyager I'll send you. It gives the first chapter of every new book for 2005 in the Harper fantasy stable....this includes Odalisque - I can tell you are keen. Give me an address and I'll get it away shortly. I'll be in Sydney all of next week so it may take a week or so. x

As someone who imports his Aussie books to the US, a listing of these books and their authors would be wonderful!  Unfortunately, the search engines at the online bookstores your way aren't as proactive in the forthcoming area.  And the cost of shipping makes buying one book extremely dear.   So if anyone could give a list of what Harper Australia is publishing this year, I can get an idea of what else to order when Odalisque comes out!  I know Fiona is busy writing but maybe someone else could do me the favor?  Greatly appreciated in advance!

Hi Kylie It definitely will be - I received my single copy today and thrilled with it. I took it to the book club tonight so the gang at Dymocks Rundle Mall could view it as a sneak peek. Hope you like it!
