Hmmmmm, shades of Turkey's Cappadocia and also a fantasy version of desert world's like "Dune" Indianna Jones type high adventure - the camel's appear at last and the typical and much loved blue motifs - Iznik style tiles/pottery and the delicate fretwork - very Arabic and exotic - a different feel to the warm dry colours of a desert. I concur - the cover is a true materpiece of otherworld creativity - it conjours the mystery ahead just like a great artwork should.
