OH MY GOODNESS!! I am glad I was still down when I read this post!!

Way to go Fiona!!

Can't wait to read the end product!! I am planning to read the other two boks again before I start Goddess when it becomes available so I just hope I don't have to go through what I did for Emissary! In other words I refuse to ask for this book for Christmas!

CONGRATS AGAIN FIONA!!

HAIL the fantasy writer!

Thanks so much! At this point only relief is felt. And today I was very pleased to also finish the American page proofs of Emissary and get those parcelled up and back on a plane to New York. So, two hoorays in as many days. It's always a great feeling to finish a trilogy and write THE END at the close of book 3. Loads and loads of work to be done on it before you read it but I think I'll go see a movie on Friday to celebrate! And eats lots of chocolate!

Yay! Finally I have found that elusive third book, only to realise that I still have a few months wait! I've been madly searching every book shop I come across, the book club I am a member of and a few online book shops, then I decided I'd go direct to the source and voila! Fiona, I love your books! Odalisque is the first I have read of yours, and of course Emissary. I know my next purchases will be your other books. Thank you for bringing small joys to my life. :) I read Emissary in two days, and my husband gladly welcomed me back to reality at the end of it. Wait until I get my hands on the rest of your books! Don't worry, I'll hide this site from him. ;) There is not many authors that I read more than one book of, but yours are sitting right up there with Jean Auel's Earth Children, Stephen King's Spooks and Kathy Reichs Dead People! Write faster, I have space on my book shelf to fill! Your books have renewed my dream of writing a novel or two, and after reading Odalisque and then Emissiary, I am happy to say that the words are flowing. You are truly an inspiration.

Oh congratulations to you! I love that you've been galvanised into action on your own writing. Fab news. Now keep it up. Every day write. Set yourself a target. even if its just 200 words - set a word count that's achievable around your lifestyle. And then stick to it. You'll be amazed how quickly the words will just build and build. Don't look too far ahead. Don't look back. Just focus on the next 250 words. I promise you you'll have a finished manuscript very swiftly. Yes, hooray, the trilogy is finished but not the work on it - still a long haul to go on Goddess but it feels great to close the story and resolve all the issues. Thank you for enjoying this tale. I hope you'll get an equal kick out of The Quickening and Trinity. I'll be getting to work on the 4th series from mid year. I'm glad you read crime too. I am launching my first crime novel in August. Very exciting. Happy reading Misserleeshy! But most importantly, happy writing!
