i think i have some problem with my computer. I am sorry. Shame on me !!!

So i would like to read more books written by Mrs McIntosh, But it is very difficult to find them in France. I know how to find the two first of the Percheron serie, but the third is unfoundable. Is someone knows how to find "Goddess" in France ?

I didn't even begin the first, but i get very frustrated when i finish the two first and waiting to the third.

For the Quickenning serie, i even bought the last in english to read it, i couldn't wait march to find it translated in french !!!

So if someone can help me, it would be very nice.Thank you very much

As you can see, i am french, so i hope you excuces for my mistakes in english. I can read your beautifull language, but it's more difficult for me to write it.

Don't apologise - I think you're wonderful to be able to write such excellent English to us. Thank you for trying so hard to get the books. Goddess should be out in Britain any minute because I've seen the cover so I imagine March latest and you should be able to order through amazon or similar. Bragelonne is publishing it in France but it's probably up to a year away before Odalisque is released. I feel very flattered that you're going to such trouble but I do understand that once you begin a trilogy you don't want to be left hanging for too long. Happy reading. I hope to be back in france at the end of the year or early 2009. All best, F

I am very honored that you answer yourself to me. Thank you very much. It is such a good news that Goddess would be found in march in Great-Britain. So i am going to buy the two first in France and the last with amazon UK. Bragelonne is a very good editor but they are very slow to translate books, too slow for me!!!

I have to say something for you. I read a lot of books, and you are the first author i read whom the feminin touch, the feminin sensibility can be felt while i read your books. It is amasing, you are the first author who makes a young boy washing toiletts an hero, who makes a man feeling women's period : i am sure that no man could do that, even think about to write that. I am not a feminist woman who think of a superiority of women in the world. No, definitly not. We need each other to be complete. But i was very touched by your feminin side in your book. It is so rare. And, it doesn't mean that your books are for women only, oh no !!! Each personn as the feminin and the male side.

BRAVO, don't change anything.Thank you again for the good news, and i am happy to know that you are comming perhaps at the end of this year.

Good evening, Mrs McIntosh,

My husband and my kids said to me that i am completely crazy but i couldn't resist : I order "Goddess" in an australian bookstore on the web : australian online bookshop www;bookworm.au. I hope it is a reliable one. I did it because Amazon.UK  will sell "Goddess" only in june !!!

I gave "le don" and "le sang" to my two nieces and my mother. They loved them and are waiting to the transaltion of "the bridge of soul".  I think they are now contaminated with your books.

Thank you again to give us such pleasure in reading.

Good morning MC and how is France - which part do you live in? I live in Adelaide which is the southern/central bottom bit of Australia and today it is hot, hot, hot. Not my favourite weather. I like late autumn, especially winter and early spring. But i have just returned from a hard 'pump' workout at the gym and I think it might be time for swim. I am not a health fanatic but this is just one of those rare days when I don't have every minute of each hour accounted for, plus it's just too hot to think about doing anything else. I reckon we'll hit 40 degrees celsius today. Nasty. thank you for being so loyal and for 'contaminating' other with the disease of my books. I've never thought of my stories as viral but it makes me smile and I hope they never recover! Let me know that you receive your copy of Goddess, because we can check into it for you at this end if you have any problems. Have fun reading! All best, F

I was going to write that it is as expensive as bragelonne.

I really don't know what 's happening on my computer but sometime, it creates a post without me !!!

I am living in a townhouse in the north-east subberban of Paris in a small town called Nogent-sur-marne with my four kids and my husband. It is winter now, grey sky, cloudy, but never too cool, rarely below zero degree celsuis. I am waiting for spring. We used to live in Africa, so I know how it is when it is really hot outside. Sometime, you just want to lay down, and don't move. I always needed a few months to deal with the weather and for my body to adapt to the temperature. Do you have a lot of humidity too ? or it is just hot and dry ?

I begin to read Odalisque. It is always a pleasure to enter in a new book of yours, to meet new characters, new places, new story. But i have more difficulties with the vocabulary because it is special, so new for me : I am not talkink that much about harem, desert ...in a casual conversation. So i have the dictionnary with me.

It is always a pleasure to "talk" to you. the magic of internet !!!!

Fi~  As you know, I just got my ARC on Monday.  I haven't had the chance to crack the spine on it for a serious look yet but that is what my weekend holds for me.

Of course you'll be hearing from me soon enough after I devour it.

Does anyone know when Goddess is going on sale in the US? I'm new to this board and I've really enjoyed the Quickening and the first 2 books of the Percheron saga.

Thanks Steve for answering that because I wouldn't have a clue! Hello to all newcomers and thank you for enjoying Percheron and I do hope the whole series is a pleasure for you and satisfies. We're going through the longest heatwave on record down in SA right now - we haven't dropped below 35 celsius in almost two weeks and it's really unpleasant.....my airconditioning in the office has broken down too - that's Murphy's Law at work! But it means I can't get out to my main computer most of the day and so I work off the laptop in the cool of the house but I can't get a really top broadband signal from my laptop so it's a struggle to keep up at the moment with you all. By next week it should all settle down, although the weather bureau is predicting at least another week of these scorching temperatures. But nothing can spoil today because it's my birthday and I've had a lot of fun and been spoiled to the point where I truly believe I should be addressed as "Princess" for the rest of the night ... just a few more hours left before the magic will fade and it will be March 15! But I've had a great day with family, good friends and lots of laughter - precisely how a birthday should be....oh and a HUGE home made ice cream cake in vanilla, coffee and dark choc. Too good.

Hello superduo,

If you are, like I was, in a hurry to read Goddess, you can buy by internet and your credit card. I found a safe book shop. you only have to wait a week. I received it almost before the two first that I ordered in UK !! If you are interested, let me know.

The third book is as the two others, very good. It 's been a real pleasure to read them. But now, i really don't know what to read.
