Good news. Our delicious friends in France - the best publisher of SF, Bragelonne - is buying Percheron to translate into French. This is wonderful and they do such amazing covers at Bragelonne, I can't wait to see what they come up with for Odalisque, Emissary and Goddess. Thank you to all our French readers for making this possible. Fx

Hey!

I am reading Odalisque in english because I can't wait for the French translation! Bragelonne said it will be released for end of 2008 - begining 2009. I am eager to see the cover, those of The Quickening (Le Don) are so handsome

Change of plan! Bragelonne has now opted to go with the Valisar series first. Quite excited - really love that all the markets will come out with the same series at roughly the same time. And France - love that French publisher - is going with hardback first. How are you, Layne?

I'm in the begining of Odalisque too (already a huge fan of Lazar ), and I'm glad to have decided to read it in english, I'm a very impatient person, and your books are too addictive (addictif?)!!!

Do you know when Bragelonne plan to publish Percheron? After the Valisar trilogy? Or will they publish it between the different books of Valisar?

Thank you, Fiona :)

I didn't know that Bragelonne had decided to publish Valisar first... but this is pretty cool because we will have one of your trilogies quite at the same time that the rest of the world! I know that I will read it in english first (because I am like Ophidia, very impatient! lol) but I can't wait to see your books in the french stores!

Royal Exile definitely planned for Jan 2009 release in hardback and then the series will unfold in hardback and trade paperback. Percheron will follow when the Valisar series is complete. Thank you to all of you for this incredibly generous support. Fx
