Finished it about three days ago. What can I say?? Hobb never fails to deliver and I loved this, but...
I couldn't help but think that nothing much happened in the book. I mean, Fitz was constantly running around like a bluearsed fly, but he never seemed to do much. Many things were started but nothing finalised. I felt very... unfulfilled with this book, but it worked well to keep me turning the page and panting in anticipation for the next one.
The relationship between Fitz and Fool is nothing short of brilliant and takes an amazing turn. I have many conflicting ideas on how it work out in the end... but Hobb has never really done what was expected of her, so it will be wait and see.

I finished it today. If Hobb needs a kidney between now and the publication of volume 3, she can have one of mine! Sorry Cecilia, that was the only spare!

You guys should both check out Robin's official site at:
www.robinhobb.com
There's message board threads that are totally devoted to how things may turn out in Fool's Fate along with the on going and never ending debates over weather or not the Fool "dimples or dangles".
If you do decide to make your way over there, then consider this a welcome from Small Ferret. (Before anyone here says anything, Small Ferret is a secondary character from the Farseer trilogy

"> )

P.S, sorry about the plugging for a rival author's site Fiona

Ah but those aren't secondary characters in the Farseer books, or if they were, we weren't introduced to them.
