(laughing at DN!).....Isabeau, tell us why. What is it about the writing you don't like or is it the story itself?

I didnt like the style of writting, it was bland and very boring, i have never fallen asleep while reading, but the style of writting in this book just about did this to me.
We have said that they write women well, maybe but in this book the women were painful and for me not real.
The story itself was pretty bland, the blurb at the back promised alot but inside it failed to deliver.
Long winded and full of uneccecary infomation, I found it repedative in the sence it went over the same infomation time and time again.
The main character was ment to be a killer, but i was halfway through the book and he was yet to kill anybody.
I love a good thriller, but these books do not deliver.
I never liked the song either DN, what have i done with this book, I threw it out.

I recently read The Memory Game and it was ok, but I'm not going to read any more books by Nicci French.
