Feewebb Mists was written way beofre the others and in my opnion you have to start there. It is the tale of arthur (so can't spoil the plot) but from the female's in his life perspective's. It is a brilliant book in my opinion.

FeeWeb, I'm not certain if the other books are prequels to the Mists of Avalon, but Mists was written before any of the others. So I don't think the order really matters, unless you're the kind of person who insists on reading books in the timeline order... <img src=">

Soldier which book comes first in the avalon series????? :help i was given the dvd of mists of avalon but my mum thinks that the others were prequills to that one i've been puttingoff getting them because i wonted to know which came first???

I am reading this book at the moment, it is co authored by Diana L Paxson, and maybe it is just me, but i find this book easy to put down, I have never had this happen with any other MZB books i have Read.
i like the book, but it just doesn't grab me
