I found the pace of this book to be so slow, I read it not long ago, and having since read Fiona's books, it was just too slow for me, not a bad story though

this is a newbie on my shelf i'm half way through the lady of the flowers so far not too bad the animal discriptions in the first at the end of every chapter and parts of stories and the book of the suna ndstarts is pretty anoying. The good thing about this one is that it's a trillagy in one book and saves me having to buy the other 2 later because i don't immediately buy all the books in a trillagy in case i can't get throght one. Main charater is Marie de France nice character but a bit spacy and too girly but she did actually exisist as a poet in the mid to late 12 century the poetry not bad but the books interesting not one to draw you into it though i've been content to read a few pages every couple of days which is unusual for me i'm normally and everything or nothing reader i do like it though and will be adding a few copies to ppls stockings this x-mas last year every1 got betrayal and loved it so i've got a rep to keep up with

I have it, and read it. I didn't really like it, thinking it a little too errrr..... 'airy' like egg whites. I prefer a cake. <slaps self for talking once again about food>

i have to admit i've stopped reading this one it just was too slow for me too and i couldn't get back into it, it's not that it was bad there was just no pull to get you to go back to it and in the end i just didn't bother i might read it latet
