The Years of rice and Salt.
What can I say... this is agreat book. Read it and enjoy. It is an alternative history... Europe has been wiped out by the Black Death and the Mogols have subjugated the entire continent and are defacto rulers of the world. It is great. What robinson did for MARS he has done for 15th century Europe.
