I adore this writer, i have enjoyed all of her books, and find them to be well written and full of some beautiful images.
The Witches of eileanan books are amounst some of the best reads that i have encounted, she creates stronge women who are still women that have feelings but who make strong choices in life.
Athough The Starthorn Tree was written for children I have enjoyed very much and if your child is interested in fantasy this is one to start them on the path.
cheers

I totally agree with you Isabeau. I've read all her books and they're the type that you can read and reread and never get bored.

A great read, I was lucky enough to buy all 6 of the Witches of Eileanan series in one go, K mart was having a special sale, 35% off, I can't remember if I bought them in Sydney or here at home in Perth, but DN should remember them as I was reading them at his place when I visited him in January, a few people I know have said the archaic "scottish" language was a bit hard to get used to, but it didn't bother me
Thoroughly recommended
