To those lovers of Darkfall, Darksong should be out early November. Lets hope that this stays, and is not put furthur forward/back/having to wait longer.

I went into Collins, and they checked on their computer. So, lets hope that it will be out soon.

Thanx, but it's by a different author. I'm gonna call my friend who owns the book, so she'll tell me.

There are two books with exactly the same name, thats why it's confusing. The one I'm talking about is about a princess who runs off to live with a dragon.

OK. I know I might get a horde over me if I ask this, but I'm willing to take the risk... I'm too curious.

What is Darksong? Which series is it part of and who's the author?

Darsong is the second in the Legendsong Trilogy by Isobelle Carmody. The first in the trilogy, Darkfall, is out at the moment, and I found it a really good read. But you will be so frustrated by the ending.

She has also written Obernewtyn Chronicals (of which we are still waiting for a date of the last book!!!! <img src="> ) and lots of other books. It's fantasy (duh!) and her books was the one that got me started. (Other than Dragonsbane which is by an author who seems to have dissapeared. There are two books with this name)

Hope this answers your questions,
Satine

Thanks, Satine. Yes, I've heard of Isobelle Carmody, and I've put her on my list of books to get from Australia next.

Dragonsbane was written by Barbara Hambly, and illustrated by Micheal Whelan, which is one of my favorite illustrations.
