Start with Medalon in the demon child trilogy it will make a lot more sense that way. I believe she has a new series called the second sons and book one in that - Lion of Senet is due for release in September

I've only read Medalon. I quite liked it and don't really know what has stopped me continuing with the series - it just seems that every time I look for a new book I manage to find something that interests me more than finishing this series.

I've read all of the demon child trilogy. Very good, but JF commits one of the small blunders that, while I enjoy it at the time, makes me go "Eh..." afterwards.
The second book gets carried away a couple of the secondary characters. They're great characters, don't get me wrong, loved their story, very funny, BUT, when the story gets back on track with the main guys... you're kinda left longing for the other pair, rushing through the bits with R'sheil and Traja just to get to Damon and ... whatshername?... Damon's chickiebabe.
Apart from that (which is a purely personal foible), they're a good read.
