This book is a joy to read and I know the author. I was excited to hear about the book and its plot and now that I've read it I'm really pleased with how much I like it.

Its about a King torn between being good and getting revenge on an old enemy. He asks a blacksmith to forge a sword for him but when the blacksmith refuses the king imprisons him. The King's daughter and the blacksmith's son develop a strong friendship as well as the son of the King's old enemy and to put it mildly... the plot thickens.

I like this story because just when you are shaking your head saying "he's gonna do that because he's not supposed to and then this is gonna happen"... stuff you don't expect happens instead. And it makes sense, and the characters are strong and wonderful, and while there are lessons they aren't shoved at you.

you can learn more about the book and the author f.w. faller at www.immerland.com <img src=">

its in australia but only at Crusie's house!

Very Interesting site.

I would love to see some more books on the skills required to make swords and armour... as a novel.

In my military career i joined as an armourer and repaired weapon systems.. would have loved to have made armour... never managed to get onto that course... Bugger!

Looks good book...

do a review when you get time cruise.
