Ahhh, another book. That might be where all my money goes. <thinks on it>
Well, I guess you would like to know which book that I have enjoyed, and just finished reading?
Assasins Apprentice. (excuse mis-spellings)
Yes, I picked it up. Now I have to wait till I get more money to buy the second one. Oh, I loved it. But man, I really HATE Regal.
lol, I always get enthused with books. They always seem more real than my life at present.
Hehe, listen to me, I'm letting out more than I should. Gotta go,

Ooooh... Royal Assassin is much more engrossing than the first one. Here's some advice, once you get enough money to buy RA, wait until you have enough to get the third one as well, because, trust me, when you read the final paragraph of Royal Assassin you are going to want to read Assassin's Quest straight away, no waiting.

Really enjoyed all the assassain series. You will find the liveships good as well if you enjoy the assassain series. I have just finished Tigana after Fiona's recommendation and enjoyed it immensely....especially the twist at the end. I am currently re-reading Destiny as I read it so quickly the first time but am finding it hard to read it more slowly. I find myself wanting to just continue reading it and have to conciously make the effort to take a break.

Destiny? Where is it out? Fiona, if I find out that it's been released in the US first....
lol, just kidding.
ISOBELLE CARMODY UPDATE:
The Seeker-to be written in 2004
Darksong -to be released later this year (sept, or something)
Fingers crossed. She really loves to keep the books coming slowly huh?

Thanks for recommending Tigana Fiona......took me back to the days when ""The Bill" used to be entertaining and used to often finish with a little twist. My only regret with it was that it was a single book.

Oh, okay then. I was starting to get a LITTLE sad about Destiny. <sniff> When's it due again? August?
Sorry, misspelling. Thought IC's book was "the seeker" it's actually "the sender" I think. They sound alike.
I think that's it. Got a whole list of books waiting to be brought, while waiting on Destiny, Darksong, and The Sender.

Blimey! Gave me a shock too Obelixx...suddenly thought Harpers had released book 3 and hadn't mentioned anything!
Oh good one Satine - my husband read book one of Assassin (after much begging) on his way home from Europe and is totally engrossed. Keeps talking about it - ah...another one hooked. Shall have to buy him the other three now (I've lent mine) and buy him the whole Liveship series (have lent mine...grrr!).
Oh I'm very happy to hear you read Tigana, Ob - I feel compelled to tell everyone about it. It is the only book I have ever thrown across the room - I couldn't believe what he did to us at the end. He likes a twist to all his books and they are always sneaky and clever. Thanks for reading it.
I have read seven novels whilst away - a real eclectic mix from "Billy" to "About a Boy" by Nick Hornby. My favourite was Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks. It's fictitious but based on a true story about a tiny little village in England which showed immense courage during the Plague and closed itself off to the rest of the country to save other villages and towns suffering a similar fate. Very poignant stuff.
I must finish Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling which I haven't found addictive but has some lovely characters and an interesting storyline (perhaps a bit predictable at times).

hmmm Big mental note to self buy tigana and put on to be read pile (which is growing)
I have just finished reading the stone and the maiden by Dennis Jones. Very enjoyable. In fact Fiona it reminded me a bit of betrayl in that they both race along at a headlong pace and leave the reader frantically turning pages to find out what happens next.
I have tracked down a copy of Kushiesl Dart and am about to read that next. It has had some fantastic reviews so shall let you all know if it is worth reading
