Went on a splurge and bought every JC book on K-Mart's shelves and a copy of Robin Hobb's Liveship part one for $3 because I couldn't bear such a great book to be offered so cheaply and everyone not fighting for it in the sale bins. Anyway, Connolly is scary as I've mentioned before. Right up there with the phychological stuff that Thomas Harris wielded so well in Silence of the Lambs. Every Dead Thing I started last night although it was meant to be kept for a plane trip. Couldn't resist. Will keep you posted although it will be slow because I'm only allowing myself to read this if I'm in bed. Otherwise I should be writing Chapter One of Quickening. Prologue finished last night. <img src=">

Liveship part one for $3? Geez you think someone screwed up? I do.

I bought my copy from there (heavily discounted mind you at around $11). Almost finished it. Got the next two waiting on my shelf (yeah I bought all 3 so I had to read the series) Be back when I finished to say what I think.

Oh John Connolly? Who is that?

writes a combination of psychological thriller with a real edge of horror to it. Very good writing. Very suspenseful stuff. Usually set in deep south of America. He's originally from Dublin.

Well I hope you love Liveship series. It's right up there with the very, very best.

I've got to say I love John Connolly, but I hate the bookstores that supply his books! grr, I've read, Dark Hollow, The White Road, The Black Angel, The Unquiet and the Reapers. Though I cannot seem to find Every Dead Thing or The Killing Kind anywhere. Its as if they've vanished! Going to have to find them online. I absolutely love them. I can just sit there and read, read and read them!
