No not the TV series. It is rather, a book, surprise surprise. I can't remember the author, and it is quite old as I remember getting it out from the library when I was in my mid teens, so about 15 years ago.

It's fantasy, set on the moon I think. About this young girl who's mistress is kidnapped by an incubus (male form of sucubus I think) who is, in a sense, a vampire. He has big black wings and pretty much sucks the life out of his 'wives', women he's kidnapped. Anyway, this girl puts herself in the path of the incubus in order to find her mistress and he takes her back to his home, not to be a wife, but to be a servent, and while there, she learns that the incubus is just a young man who's under a spell, and of course, she falls in love with him. She decides that she must now save him from the curse and sets out on a quest to do so. The quest takes her across a desert, and maybe an ocean and maybe under ground as well. Can't really remember, but she is pursued by creatures sent by some nasty character who made the incubus in the first place and doesn't want him rescued.

If you know the book or author, pleeeeeeese tell me. Thank you!!

this is what i found.. may not be your book...

dark angel
Sean Forestal

To be brief, Dark Angel is about a priest who is hunting down a succubus.

It seems that the succubus, who goes by the name of Angela, seduced the cardinal (in the Vatican City!), and left the scene, not before being spotted by the main character, a priest named Joe. WHen Joe voiced his suspicion, he is thought of as a madman by his fellow clergyman. The rest of the novel chronicles Joe following the succubus' trail as she rampages through Europe.

Forestal captures the European setting and the religious atmosphere of the book perfectly....but however, there are too many times when you just wish he would just write what he means instead of using some flowery language to paraphrase it.

Also, there are certain instances where people uses words they don't use anymore (who says the word "supper" nowadays)....and near the beginning, Joe immediately screamed that the cardinal was seduced by a succubus...basing that conclusion only upon seeing a beautiful woman leaving the cardinal's quarters....which is totally inconvincing

Overall, the book is a good read, have some interesting moments....but definitely could have been better.

Hope this is it.... if not, i only read about 25 of 50 of the book descriptions which had DARK ANGEL in them.....

Thanks for the effort, Tommy, but that's not it. I found that one as well... in amongst the 50 listed at amazon.

Perhaps I should ring the library where I borrrowed it from. See if they still have it.
