Who watches that show?
I saw the last episode of season two yesterday... I'm not disappointed at the twist, only at the fact that I'll have to wait a few months until the start of season 3! Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrgghhhhhh!

Who, aside from me, thinks that the Rambaldi artifact is a time machine?

Whats we have not got this show yet?? all about Soldier
I used to watch it last year and I agree with you Mannon that the remabldi artefact is definitly some sort of time machine
Its a very light and fluffy look at spying even if some of the episodes are a little hard to follow

You're right about that, Ambrai. It's hard to follow if you miss some of the shows.
Alias is the story of a young spy who was recruited to work for SD-6, allegedly a sub-division of the CIA. But Sydney Bristow soon finds out the truth about SD-6, a rogue agency in the business of acquiring and selling information with no regard to national security. When her boyfriend learns the truth about her "real" work, he is killed by agents of SD-6 to prevent his talking. That pisses off Sydney, who then goes to the CIA to take SD-6 down. However, she realizes that what she knows is only the tip of the iceberg, and becomes a double agent working for the CIA, undercover as an SD-6 agent to gather more information on that organization. Her father, Jack Bristow, is also a CIA double agent working undercover at SD-6, and isn't too pleased to see his daughter involved in all this.
In season 2, Sydney learns that her mother was a Russian spy whose mission was to eliminate CIA agents during the cold war. She married Jack Bristow, then a CIA agent, to gather information on the CIA and carry out her mission. Sydney thought her mother had died in a car accident, but finds out the truth when she is captured by her in one of her missions to retrieve a Rembaldi artifact. Eventually, Irina Derevko, Sydney's mother, surrenders to the CIA and releases all information she has on SD-6, the Rembaldi artifacts, and other operations. The CIA is later successful in bringing down SD-6, but their henchman, Sloane, escapes. Irina Derevko gains the confidence of her daughter, and just when we think she might be one of the good guys after all, defects to Sloane to work on getting the last of the Rembaldi artifacts. In the last episode of that season, Sydney (after fighting one of the bad guys) wakes up in Hong Kong. It appears that she had been missing for two years... and that's how it ends.
Soooooooo... I think that the big Rembaldi machine they're putting together with all the accumulated artifacts is a time machine that will send Sydney back through time to recover her lost two years, of which she appears to have no recollection. But that's just my Fantasy imagination taking over, I think!

I have watched it a few times and really enjoyed it.....
I also loved La Femme Nikita.... although some bits were silly... I think Alias has more substance...
My daughter taped every episode and has really really missed it - unsure when it is coming back here....

To satisfy the consumer world, the complete first season of Alias is now available on DVD!

">
La Femme Nikita... Yep, with Roy Dupuis, one of our Quebec actors who made it to Hollywood! Cute boy, but I always thought he lacked substance... That show's also available on DVD.

Alias is completely unreal, but I like it anyway.

"> "Simmering silent type" Yep! That's Roy Dupuis all right! It seems he always gets roles in which his characters are the "simmering silent type."

">
Check out his latest movie, "The Barbarian Invasions". It was nominated at the Cannes Festival this year. He plays a simmering silent cop.
