I actually went to the pictures on the weekend - second time this year. We took Lachlan to see Jungle Book 2.
Rudyard Kipling would turn over in his grave if he saw it (although how a dead man could see it, or turn over for that matter, I don't know). But Lochie enjoyed it.
Not as much as the original animated version though. This didn't have enough singing in it for him and it spent too long in the village at the beginning. But it kept him entertained for the whole hour. Even at kids prices $27 for one hours entertainment for three people seems a bit stiff!
He watched it all except for the short time he wanted to get down and crawl around being a tiger. He just loves Shier Khan.

Seen this a few weeks ago with the wife and kids. I agree it tried to catch the original movie charisma and came close but not quite. They still came up with a few catchy tunes and that little brother was great..... Growl .....
