I saw this film today, and despite not having seen the whole of the first one ( i had the gist of the story tho), i still enjoyed it. This genre, which i kind of think of as 'jumpy' movies (ie: dark, quiet, threatening music, you know something's going to happen, then BAM it happens quickly and noisily and makes you jump), is not usually my preferred viewing. I might even venture that the movie deserved more than the 0.5 stars that the critics in the newspaper awarded it. I guess i liked the setting or story or action or something (and it had some good fight scenes too!) I saw this movie with two people who are quite familiar with the video game, and from what i gathered, the movie was fairly true to the game. (they were also of the opinion that it was better than the first) I might have to see the first one now.... BtG

Ditto - I liked it for the setting and the cliché, though apt, representation of the evil corporation behind all the characters' woes.

Predictable action with enough twists that I sat through. Popcorn muncher, but nothing truly amazing and it had a couple of characters that could have been written out without losing any of the story - never a good thing.

Big budget Zombie movie, but as far as Zombie movies, few compare to 28 days or Shawn of the Dead ;) Ah the 'Sweeney'  scene :lmao
