Did this premier tonight anywhere else other than Sydney? I don't want to say anything until I'm sure you've all had a chance to see it. Adios :pimp Old Celtic Saying Murphy was an optimist

I know it aired around adelaide. I taped it and watched it today. Honestly, I don't think I'll bother next week. So much for being a hot new american show.

I watched the second episode, (actually the 2nd part of the 2 hour pilot, ) this week...which, once you get past the fact that 40 odd people, and one engine, survive a crash from 40 thousand feet (in a plane that has no nose or tail, ) was fairly intriguing. I thought the polar bear was a good indication of the Twin Peakish twists that can be expected in the weeks to come. I'll definitely persever with it for a wee while longer...and if Fay Wray's great-grandaughter and a bloody big monkey turn up next...COOL !!! Adios :pimp

I have not seen this show. Is it as bad as it sounds. Brain the size of a planet and they ask me to open the doors....

I am rather enjoying Lost. It beats a lot of other things on the idiot box these days. Where a lot of people found disappointment, I think, was with the emphasis on character history in the earlier shows. The early marketing of it tended to lean toward the 'mysterious danger' on the island, hunting a bunch of castaways, not character relations. The show, in later episodes, is showing good character development and interaction. That is what I watch TV for. Cheers, Lisa.

I hate posts that are essentially a me too, but Me too Lisa. There have been a couple of episodes that have had me saying next week if it doesn't get better, but then they improve or introduce an interesting twist - like the republican guard's story and I'm in again. :y

I'm not going to try to explain why...I don't think I could...but, for me, Lost is about the best thing on TV at the moment. Adios:hat

Because everything else is sh*t? Except Mythbusters. And Spicks and Specks, and the Glass House, but other than that, all crap. Oh, CSI (original only) is still worth a look. Cheers, Lisa.

How's this? They are flawed. The Doctor seemed come across as the dogooder, but things went south there and suddenly we were looking at a bunch of flawed 'heores' (generic unisex term of course) There's probably more to it, but that hit me as I read Lisa's post. SB2 You are more patient than I - Twin Peaks went too far off track for me far too quickly. I'm fascinated by CSI as I love all things crime related. Although I've found the relationships between the characters almost seem inserted as afterthoughts these days :( Being a Sci-Fi fan I'm also enjoying two strong female roles in Galactica.

A character that doesn't keep evolvoing and showing you new sides is a character you easily forget. Look at the evolution of Buffy? Any wonder the series ran so long? Regarding CSI... Grissom needs a kick in the butt. Sarah's not gonna wait for him forever. Moron. :brick

I have not seen anything decent on Tv for years and very rarely watch it. When I do it's usually UKTV with Goodnight Sweetheart and 'allo 'allo. TV is drivel and the worst thing is they show unreal reality TV all the time. There is nothing real or entertaining about Reality TV. You want to watch a load of idiots sitting around a house all day... come to my house at weekends and I wont charge you a penny haha!
