I watched this movie the other night. All I can do is ",shudder",. Quite a confronting movie, very painfull and quite evil. It was interesting enough to make me do some research on the ",true story", behind the movie.

It's supposed to be based on the Peter Falconio murder but it bares no resemblence to that story whatsoever except for the fact that Peter and his g/f ,were/are pommies and it happened out in the outback.

The evil killer, ,Mick, ,was based on Ivan Milat. What Ivan did to a majority of his victims just south of Sydney ,was just ,pure evil - ,I wont go into detail, but the 3 people who actually escaped from Ivan should consider themselves the luckiest people in the world... what he would have done to them is beyond the imagination of any ordinary or even slightly evil ,human being. *shudder*

Anyone else seen it ? If so, what did you think ?

I'm too scared to watch it. Saw was enough for me but at least I knew I was watching fantasy. Wolf Creek obviously runs horribly close to the bone of truth. Perhaps on DVD when it all feels a bit less threatening.
