Not a bad movie for a little kids show. It's sorta funny, but predictable story line. Great animation - i liked it better than OVER THE HEDGE

As a Pixar movie it has the HUGE loving attention to detail which will make me buy the dvd regardless cause deep down Pixar are GODS

However I must confess my suspension of disbelief wasn't that great on this one. Talking fish? No worries. Supers? Goes without saying. Monsters in the cupboard? EVERYONE believes in them. But Cars???
Lets take some examples - Our lead car (the red one, 'Lightning') decides to make a break for it at once stage in the movie only to run out of petrol just out of town. When he queries he is told that they syphoned his tank while he was asleep.
Now, petrol = car food right? So therefore did they not in real terms STOMACH PUMP him? Is that not just a little bit... well.. ICK??
Also let us consider the age of the Car. Car have been around for about 110 years more or less. So 110 years ago is effectively the DAWN OF TIME for all cars car-ie. Now just after the Dawn of Time the town of Radiator Springs is founded and rises to greatness. Then 30 years ago the interstate is built and we have the fall of Radiator Springs and everyone moans about it. But hang on, since recorded history is only about 110 years then Radiator Springs was great for over half of the historical record.
Moaning about it is about the same as people these days bitching about how the Roman Empire really isn't what it used to be.
(and what have the Romans ever done for ... oh never mind...

)
You also have to wonder how a car, with no visible manipulators (or hands even) manages to build towns and buildings in the first place?
Still, when the DVD comes out so will the MudCrab Visa

Oh pretty young. Think of the advantages, by getting them into the workforce earlier they would free up all those spaces in childcare.
Also, since the average age of the working population would be lower, we could all retire a lot earlier at say 40.
Win/Win situation all up
