I was a little apprehensious of Daniel Craig as the new bond, but i was sorely mistaken. , He looks like a guy that could bash someone up and he's got that sexy charisma that you don't see until he's in action.

Visual eye candy, the plot itself was a little weak... but who watches bond films for plot. , Eva green and Daniel Craig had great chemistry, (well i thought they did) the love hate relationship was good...until towards the end.

I think Vesper Lynd is now my fave bond girl. , I won't put any spoilers in here but it was definately enjoyable.

Do not watch this movie if you are easily upset and a petrol head. I nearly cried.

I saw the movie late last month and really enjoyed it on the whole. It was refreshing to see a bond who was a bit vulnerable and not a super-hero as in the previous movies. I also enjoy watching Judy Dench as Q - one of my fav actors.

The car crash was not unexpected because they had advanced tv promo trailers before the release which featured the crash but thankfully didn't spoil the plot by showing the cause. I wonder if the Aston Martin execs regretted their involvement with the brand advertising in the movie - very expensive and heart rending to destroy 3 DB9s.

Yeah I know how you feel. By the way Mariner, Judi Dench's Character is M not Q that was John Cleese in the last Bond. I love her playing such powerful roles she just gives it the right edge without going over the top!! :) :D :P

Saw this one a while ago! I liked it but thought that the way they veered away from all the women dancing at the starting credits was a little un James Bond-ish! (being a fan of JB!) But Daniel Craig was good and i enjoyed it!

Yeah I agree with that. The opening credits were very un-Bondlike but I suppose that comes with the way of the times?

I liked how they had moved away from the girls at the start. I thought it signalled a shift in the role of women in bond films.

Well also maybe not having the girls in the beginning that might have some effect to lifting the curse that "apparently" plagues Bond Chicks right from the start of the films being made!

Ah still, but those dancing shadows of girls pretty much represent a bond film! It's been going on since the very first one (Dr No) was created and it's more like a tradition thing now! And if they're just catching up with modern times with feminism and people saying it's sexist...it's more about what bond is like? He's a womaniser! But the opening credits...there were plently of oppurtunities to stick women in there!

I have a friend that reminds me of Bond quite a bit, and when i saw Daniel Craig as bond I was some what flabbergasted. He's not really a friend anymore because of his very bond like ways. Because he seemed like a 15 year old version of my friend the last I saw him. In a tuxedo with the most cheeky mischievious smile on his face. So i look at the changing roles of women in the bond films as a very slim chance of hope that my poor friend isn't doomed to be a womanising bastard and that one day someone is going to be his match. Because I would really love to speak to him on civil terms without having to guard myself against his wastril ways.

LOVED the movie, going to see it again and close my eyes at the DB9 bit because I actually made a loud and hysterical noise when it happened and my sons glared at me. How can you not make a gagging sound when they do that to that?????? I am still upset over it and now Muddy tells us x 3 bought it. I feel sick. DC is beautiful. I rather like Brosnan but I think this Bond is dead sexy, really tough and very, very manly with that nice vulnerability. I didn't care that I didn't understand it. The opening scene gave me serious vertigo and I don't suffer from it. I'm taking my husband this week just so I can watch him pass out, because he does suffer from it. F p.s. he wouldn't have been able to move either!
