If you feel like reading a little bit of history to my currently un-named book, sit back and read ahead. It doesn't come up in the story alot mind, just some notes for myself. But it's interesting, because it gives you a bit of an idea where I'm coming from.
So, read if you want, if you don't, go away
Hehe.
Cheers and Cherries,

*Oh, just so you know, Salkurasts are the good version of them. The histories over-lap*
THE HISTORY OF LOCKRASTS
An order of Enchantress’ whose power is all to do with evil. They were once Salkurasts, but took a mortal lover. The name of the mother-of-Lockrasts is Ahaldiline. She was banished from the Salkurast order to the mountains of Scarlotta. Her friends followed her, and also took mortal lovers. By morning, all the lovers were dead. Ahaldiline was the most powerful out of the group, so became their leader. One thing she did not expect was that their children would have limited powers and life. Salkurasts were immortal, but in taking on a mortal lover, the powers of future generations would waver. To put more power into the Lockrasts, Ahaldiline wove a spell over her followers. They would have power, though not full power. Their days were lengthened, but nowhere near as long as the Salkurasts. They would bear girls only, and live in the mountains of Scarlotta. Ahaldiline bore a daughter who she named Laren. Laren would take Ahaldiline’s place when it was time. All that Ahaldiline had tried to give to the future children power had a fault. They would keep loving mortals, so eventually they would become like mortals.
Ahaldiline went into the mines of Scarlotta and found a large jewel. With each generation, it would change colour, and a small fragment would be chipped off, for the neck charm. This gave Ahaldiline an idea. She bought in six mortal men, and promised them all their dreams. So they carved the throne in Mt Ambomy and the all-seeing pool. When their task was done, Ahaldiline charmed them, and they became the guards to the stone. They would protect it and it’s master at all costs. They became like the living dead. Ahaldiline’s work for the future generations was almost complete. She took the stone, which she named Emarl, and into it she poured all her power. She also poured her power into the all-seeing pool which emarl would control It would give Salkurast power to the one who sat on the throne. To the one that sat on the throne, it would give the ability to use the all-seeing pool. To the one who wore a fragment, it would give longer life and powers. After pouring in all her power, Ahaldiline became like mortal. She chipped a fragment of emarl, and put it in a neck charm for Laren. Ahaldiline was near death. She had paved the path for her future line. The Darkcloths would not be destroyed, and they will rule the Lockrasts forever. The followers of Ahaldiline were still immortal, and became the keepers of Ahaldilines writings. They were the advisors to the ruler, who now was Laren.
