Good plan. But the title has to be more snappy:

How to write a breakout book about how to write breakout books.

Something along those lines. Or:

The Writer's Guide to Writing about Writing

Break out of jail? Break out in spots? What are you supposed to break out of?
Anyway, to lapse back into seriousness for a minute, I am done reading books on how to write. It's my No1 procrastinating method of avoiding actually writing.

This book, by Donald Maass, is a great read for anyone looking to get to the next level in their writing. I'm not quite finished reading it yet, but I can say that it's full of great advice, *tons* of examples, and insider know-how. It's fairly advanced stuff, so it's probably not the best place to begin reading about writing, but once you know your chops fairly well, How to Write a Breakout Novel is a great place to continue to learn the craft.

Cheers all,

Brad.

How about, 'How to write a breakout book by writing a book telling people how to write a breakout book'
Too long, you think? But it's catchy...
