I've been trying to write short stories for ages and I've found that I can never stick to just one plot. Everytime I'm like halfway through to finishing, I think of a new plot and end up jumping around writing about three different stories at the same time. Also, I have a huge problem with length. Short becomes too long to be short and long becomes to short to be long!:wall :help
Advice, anyone?
I've written a story called medieval Screenplay, but it was too long and I hadto cut it down so I could enter it into a competition and I haven't really gotten around to fixing it and I've gone on to the second story in the 'series'. I've also started writing a story that hasn't got a title yet. Can I post the beggining here and perhaps people can tell me what they think?:help

I would suggest trying a few flash stories. Those are stories that are 500 words or less. They're an interesting form, because you're really (I mean really) forced to cut back on things that you'd *like* in the story. That much space only allows things that are *needed*. Once you have a few of those under your belt (stories that work, that is), you'll find that cutting back on other stories is much easier.

Cheers and good luck!

Brad.

Draco

Please do post... love to read your work.

Also a tip for stories... start as close to the ending as possible.
