Hey, I just thought I'd give a shout out. The first draft of Captured by Crystal (the soon to be a blockbuster by new novelist Brad Beaulieu [he says with tongue in cheek]) is now finished. I wrapped it up on Thursday night.

It feels both sad and exhilarating to be through with this part of the journey, but I have a few more passes with the characters I've come to know so well.

So, just trying to enjoy the moment. Soldier and Fiona, how close are you?

Brad.

Congrats to both of you! I have about a hundred pages spread over many files, the titles of which include: plot; background; characters: fragments; piddly little plot summary - horizontal; piddly little plot summary - table; piddly little plot summary - text boxes; and many more. Half a dozen of them are actually started novels, some nearly a chapter in length. I think I shall give up and go into business selling displacement activities to the discipline-challenged.

Congratulations Brad.

How soon should I start hounding the bookstores for what I know will be the next world-wide best seller?

Surely it is only a matter of time before someone recognises your immense talent and publishes your work.
