Wow!
I just download a copy of ON Writing... by Robert Louis Stevenson... Wow all that time and ago an it still makes sense...
Just as good as King's book in my opinion... read it if you interested in writing.

Speaking of getting things free on the net... found "The Elements of Style" by Strunk(?) that King spoke so well of in his book on the net. I couldn't be bothered downloading it though. Just saved it to favs so it's there whenever I want to check on something.

re STRUNK... I bought it.... Read it, it is the smallest most powerful book ever ....... Please print it off... it is the best.

Elements of Styleand found this a while back, it has some good essays (a few even make you laugh while imparting information). They're mainly sci-fi and fanatsy authors too, which is a bonus.
